My first Treasury!

I've always seen many talented artists and Etsy sellers get their items added to certain treasuries. I've always wanted my items to be a part of something like that too and guess what? Now it has!

My Alice in Wonderland pastel drawn postcard item has been added to WonderlandShop's Go Ask Alice treasury.  But it's only up until Feb 15th! I'm so happy to see so many other Alice In Wonderland fans out there!

Sketches

I've been doing a lot of sketching and experimenting lately. Here are 3 works in progress: Alice in Wonderland inspired Items, Billy Goats Gruff and Goldilocks and the 3 stuffed Bears teaparty. I coloured the Billy Goats Gruff in pastels but am eager to try my hands at colouring them digitally. Will let you know how it goes!

NEW ITEMS

Come check it out! I got the final piece to my 5 set Alice in Wonderland postcards - The mighty scary Queen of Hearts ("Off with your head!"). This now completes my Wonderland set and is available to buy on my Etsy store. (I love them so much!)

I have also added a few more lovely polymer clay jewellery trinkets and a cupcake stationery writing set! This set comes with 10 lined writing sheets with a cupcake design on the back, 10 matching cupcake envelopes, 1 magnetic bookmark and some cupcake cutouts to decorate however you please.

My favourite item? The cupcake bookmark! It's so cute and adorable and USEFUL! I am constantly losing my bookmarks (weird because they're there to help find - does anyone else lose theirs?) but now I won't have to worry because now I have this! The bottom of the bookmark holds a small flat magnet which snaps together the pages you're reading so the mark doesn't fall out! Smart!

Tea Party in Wonderland

All gathered around the table for a tea party. Everyone had their own ideas on a conversation starter:
Alice: "It would be so nice if something made sense once in a while".
Chesher Cat: "Can you stand on your head?"
Queen of Hearts: "Off with your head".
White Rabbit: "I'm late!"
Mad Hatter: "Why is a Raven like a writing desk?"

and The Chesher Cat began: "We're all mad around here"....

I'm still here!

Okay, so I havn't blogged in about 2 months! But it's been a busy 2 months for me! I've been hammering through work (all deadlines have been shortened due to the Xmas/New year holidays) and I recently bought a unit with my boyfriend so i've been moving out and moving in (it's been busy busy busy!)

BUT, I have been working on my illustration work. A lot of children illustrators out there have inspired me to get back into drawing and I love it! That's not to say I will not be doing anymore polymer work! I will get back to that later when my creative brain wants to take a break from pastels.

So, here is a cute postcard I drew of Alice (Alice in Wonderland) - it is currently being printed! I absolutely adore Alice in Wonderland and have decided to do a series of postcards of the cute and quirky characters - Alice, Chesher Cat, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts and the Rabbit.

I hope you like it and watch out for more work from me! I promise I won't take too long in between posts!

Til next time,
Tiny Love
