Daily Doodles

I hope everyone had a safe and brilliant Christmas and New Years. I've had a couple of weeks off during these festive holidays and I'm already back at work tomorrow (eek!)

I can not believe how quickly the holidays went, I had a million things I wanted to get done and the majority of my time was taken up by doing chores and house renovations.

So I do apologise for these daily doodles being so behind, and they're still not up to date but I thought I'd share what I've done so far. More to come later...

The Three Bears

Finally finished the 3 bears illustration from Goldilocks and the Three Bears Series. I took ages doing Baby bear and photographing and posting these up! They should be available in my store very soon! So much has happened in my life the past month which is why I've been neglecting my Etsy store but it's always in the back of my mind. :)

I'm so happy to have finished these cute and adorable illustrations though and intend to do a lot more! Goldilocks is next, plus I would love to do another Alice in Wonderland series! (I am obsessed!)

I also want to get more stickers, professional prints and notepads up in my store of these illustrations so look out for these.

Keep your eyes peeled on my blog this coming weekend. I have a free surprise to share with all of you! :)

Hope everyone's been well! Take care of each other.

Illustration Work

Hey guys!

I told you I'd be back soon! I've put the polymer clay jewellery making on the back burner and have wanted to concentrate on drawing and illustrating more. I've always wanted to do more stationery work but have put it off as it does require a lot more work than the polymer clay jewellery (and with a full-time job, it's hard to find the time!) But I LOVE drawing and illustrating too much to avoid NOT doing it any longer.

This year I intend to do more illustration work and bring it more to my store. I love how it looks and also that people are able to use them (in all different kinds of ways). I plan to make writing sets, notecards, envelopes, lists, planners, party favours, stickers, prints etc with them! We'll see how it goes.

So here is the beginning of the first project. The 3 bears. So far I have been experimenting my illustration style on Papa bear. The one on the left has no inking and is purely on shading while the right has a defined black ink outline. I have asked everyone around me which they prefer and so far it's 50/50! So I have an important question to ask all of you... which do you prefer?

pencil shavings and smudges,

Sketches

I've been doing a lot of sketching and experimenting lately. Here are 3 works in progress: Alice in Wonderland inspired Items, Billy Goats Gruff and Goldilocks and the 3 stuffed Bears teaparty. I coloured the Billy Goats Gruff in pastels but am eager to try my hands at colouring them digitally. Will let you know how it goes!
